2011 Sendai earthquake and tsunami : A good news

In Sendai Airport terminal building, the first floor is completely buried in water by a tsunami. About 1,200 staff and users left behind waited for help in two or three floors. The circumference of the airport became a very large bog, and, in the firefighting and the Self-Defense Force, it was refused an approach to the airport.

“We look for a route from every area. We want to arrive by any means.”

The young company commander of the Ground Self-Defense Force said in morning of 13th. And they arrived at the airport after several hours  and rescued 1,200 people.

A rescued girl bore it for severe two days and regained a smile.
